The first attacks on Tula would be of regiment scale and last a few days; not enough for a large scenario. Maybe a small standalone one but that will not be a part of this campaign.
The Moscow map is a 36x35 rectangle, covering the area between Volokolamsk, Klin, Kolomna and Serpuhov.
A similar map of Tula - also a snow map of the same size, with Tula roughly in the center, 4-6 hxes large. It would have Kashira in North East, Ischera South West and Stalinogorsk South East. A road and a railway goes from Tula to Serpuhov (which is off map as well as the river south of Serpuhov.
So far only a rough drawing in my notebook, pictures will come later.
Assuming that the 2nd panzer group needs some time to gather, the attacks would start on November 15, just like the attack on Moscow. Tula is the main objective, the rest depends on the fuel for panzers. They should be able to go halfway the map even if they stop there.
Tuls will be heavily fortified with minefields in some places.
Weather and other conditions will be the same as for Moscow. |
